Journalists and actor released

Journalists Winstone Antonio, Sherpherd Tozvireva and Itai Zengenya who were arrested at the Parliament of Zimbabwe on 13 April 2016 together with playright and actor Sylvanos Mudzvova were all released without charges on the same day.

Mudzvova was, however, asked to report to Harare Central Police station on 14 April 2016.

Mudzvova had planned to stage a one-man play titled: Bring Back the $15 billion. His play follows President Robert Mugabe’s statement that $15 billion in diamonds revenue had gone missing from mining activities in the Marange district of Manicaland Province.
