MISA Zimbabwe’s State of the Media reports are annual publications that detail the state of media, freedom, freedom of expression and access to information in Zimbabwe.
The reports detail the socio-economic and political environment and policy pronouncements that give effect or lack thereof on the enjoyment of the afore-mentioned rights as provided for in the constitution.
In its analysis of the state of the media, MISA Zimbabwe also pays attention to regional and international instruments that Zimbabwe is a state party, to determine progress towards adherence and what steps need to be taken towards that eventuality.
