Zanu PF youth threatens journalist

Miriam Mangwaya, a reporter with The Mirror weekly newspaper was on 26 June 2018 threatened and harassed by a Zanu PF youth while travelling from the burial of Chief Hama in Zimbabwe’s Chirumanzi district.

ZBC crew injured in ZANU-PF rally blast

Three journalists from the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Cooperation (ZBC) were injured after an explosion today at the Bulawayo White City stadium. The injured are cameraman Coster Thole, technician Chipo Five, and producer Forget Tsododo.

Journalists walkout in solidarity

Journalists covering a  Zanu PF meeting in the eastern border town of Mutare on 24 March 2018 walked out in solidarity after the party’s Manicaland provincial chairperson  Mike Madiro barred reporters from the private media from covering the event.
