FOX Fellowships ( Call for Applications)

We are excited to launch a call for applications for individuals and organisations in Southern Africa working in the field of free expression and media freedom advocacy.

DW Akademie in collaboration with the Spaces of Solidarity coalition of Media Freedom Advocates offer five FOX Fellowships of 1,000 EUR (~ 1,100 USD) for activists, media professionals, media freedom and freedom of expression advocates to foster free expression in the SADC region by:

  • implementing campaigns incl. calls to action
  • conducting policy research and formulate policy recommendations
  • creating targeted informational material (series of short videos, podcasts, posters, info sheets, etc.)
  • designing art that speaks to free expression issues
We are excited to launch a call for applications for individuals and organisations in Southern Africa working in the field of free expression and media freedom advocacy. This call specifically focuses on fact-based advocacy, media skills, and innovation, inviting organizations to explore how policy dialogue around free expression issues can be shaped in novel ways.
