Resource centre: State of the Media Reports

MISA Zimbabwe’s State of the Media reports are annual publications that detail the state of media, freedom , freedom of expression and access to information in Zimbabwe.

The reports detail the socio-economic and political environment and policy pronouncements that give effect or lack thereof on the enjoyment of the afore-mentioned rights as provided for in the constitution.

In its analysis of the state of the media, MISA Zimbabwe also pays attention to regional and international instruments that Zimbabwe is a state party, to determine progress towards adherence and what steps need to be taken towards that eventuality.
